Curatorial - This committee is responsible for creating project criteria, establishing artist grant guidelines, soliciting and jurying project submissions, and project leader management.
Outreach - This committee is divided into two groups: Propaganda and Face-To-Face. The Propaganda Committee will be in charge of creating the Verge brand through visual media of all kinds. The Face-To-Face Committee will be handling recruitment (of artists, volunteers, etc.), arranging and running information booths at events, communicating with artists and reaching out to communities to inform the masses about VERGE!
FUNdraising - This committee will be responsible for putting the FUN in fundraising through exciting events and equally exciting grant writing, sponsorship solicitation, managing donations and exploring other creative avenues of funding the festival and its artists.
Logistics - Primarily responsible for running the main festival from top to bottom - permits, volunteer coordination, resource allocation, event layout, as well as the physical set-up and take-down of the event itself. If you are a hands-on person - this is a great committee for you!
Bookkeeping - Responsible for coordinating all of the financial records, meeting minutes, applications, and permits.
